No need to moisten first (like the old gum labels), these "peel & stick" labels are fast and sanitary.  Two options for use:

1) emboss first, peel off the easy to remove paper backing, then apply the seal to a variety of surfaces.

2) peel and adhere first to certificate or other document, and then emboss.

Either way, these are still some of the best foil labels we've found!
